At Visma Labs in Kosice, over 200 professionals drive innovation by developing and supporting more than 20 products. We are now seeking a skilled .NET Senior Developer to join our team and contribute to our ongoing projects.

Your Opportunity

As a Senior Engineer, you will play a crucial role in our team's development efforts. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will collaborate with a skilled team of developers in Slovakia and Lithuania to contribute to the development of our microservices-based .NET application hosted on the Azure cloud platform.

Your tasks will include:

1. Technical Contribution:

• Collaborate with the team to develop .NET-based microservices and Azure cloud infrastructure.

• Provide insights on technical challenges, contributing to the improvement of architecture and design.

• Conduct code reviews, offer constructive feedback, and help ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.

• Contribute to fostering a culture of continuous learning within the team.

2. Architecture and Design:

• Design and implement scalable and maintainable .NET-based microservices using the latest .NET framework versions.

• Utilize Azure services such as Functions, Durable Functions, Service Bus, and Event Grid to build a fault-tolerant cloud-native application.

• Collaborate with the team to evaluate and integrate new technologies, frameworks, and patterns to enhance application performance.

3. Project Delivery and Collaboration:

• Work closely with the Product team to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

• Participate in project planning, sprint grooming, and estimation to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality features.

• Communicate effectively with engineering teams, stakeholders, and cross-functional partners to align priorities and dependencies.

Let’s Dive into the Tech Stack

We Are Looking for You If You Have:

• 5+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on C# and the .NET framework.

• Extensive experience designing and building microservices-based applications, preferably in an Azure cloud environment.

• In-depth knowledge of Azure services, including Functions, Durable Functions, Service Bus, and Event Grid.

• Strong understanding of software architecture patterns, design principles, and best practices.

• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to resolve complex technical challenges.

• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code.
